FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; production of the layer pads for sealing of the polymerization molds. ^ SUBSTANCE: inventions is pertaining to the layer pads, which are applied for separation of silicate glasses or other plates at assemblage of the mold for polymerization of methacrylic and other monomers by the method of the modular polymerization in the two-dimensional parallel mold. For sealing of the polymerization mold the invention offers the layer pad representing the C-shaped profile on the basis of plasticized polyvinylchloride or polyolefin, which height (H) exceeds in 1.3-1.4 times the thickness of the produced Plexiglas with the thickness (sigma) 3-8 mm, having radius of the internal rounding (Rint), defined by the following formula Rint=(H-2sigma)/4 and width of the slot equal to double radius of the internal rounding in which there are and used to increase of rigidity - two rubber or polyvinylchloride tubes with their diameter equal to the double radius of the interior rounding of the profile.
