METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF HUMAN BODY IMMUNE SYSTEM

FIELD: medicine, clinical immunology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of activity the complex mannan-binding lectin with associated serine proteases in patients by measurement of serum blood complement consumption before and after incubation in buffer solution with addition of ethylenediaminotetraacetic acid in vitro wherein this acid is neutralized with a titrated solution with Ca2+ and Mg2+, the following addition of ram erythrocytes sensitized with rabbit antibodies followed by repeated incubation. The complement consumption indices are determined by erythrocytes lysis degree: index below 30% is estimated as the reduced response of the human immune system; index from 30% to 70% is estimated as the normal response, and index above 70% is estimated as the enhanced response. Using the proposed simple and rapid method provides detection of preclinical state of immune deficiency, to carry out the deepened study of autoimmune diseases pathogenesis, their early prophylaxis and to control the effectiveness of therapy carried out. ^ EFFECT: improved method for estimation. ^ 3 dwg, 4 ex
