ROLLED BLANK COOLING APPARATUS IN COOLING ZONE OF ROLLING PLANT

FIELD: systems for increasing intensity of cooling at shortening length of cooling zone. ^ SUBSTANCE: in front of rolled blank between rollers of roller table devices for water spraying are mounted in fixed state. Over blank in carrying beams spraying collectors are mounted. Said carrying beams are secured to movable round tube arranged in parallel relative to lengthwise axis of roller table and provided with rotation drive and with water supply system. Water supply is centralized with control and monitoring system having valves for supplying or cutting off cooling water. Compact cooling zone with high cooling intensity is achieved due to maximally close arrangement of rollers of roller table one to other. Lower cooling collector is arranged slightly lower in space between rollers. Collectors have bear shaped cross section whose mouth is provided with spraying nozzles arranged in gap between rollers. Rollers of roller table are provided with elongated journals of small diameter. ^ EFFECT: high intensity of cooling along cooling zone of shortened length. ^ 14 cl, 7 dwg
