Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, enzymes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention represents a recombinant formate dehydrogenase showing amino acid sequence that corresponds to amino acid sequence of formate dehydrogenase of wild type and containing glutamic acid residue at position corresponding to position 106 in amino acid sequence of formate dehydrogenase from Mycobacterium vaccae N10 wherein glutamic acid residue is replaced for arginine residue. This substitution can be used in combination with other mutations providing acquiring novel and/or improved properties in formate dehydrogenases.
