METHOD FOR ANDROGENIC BLOCKADE AT TREATING PROSTATIC ADENOCARCINOMA

FIELD: medicine, oncourology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating patients with malignant prostatic tumor. At anterior scrotal surface one should make an incision of about 1-1.5 cm by dissecting all testicular membranes up to albuginea. The latter should be dissected with a cruciform incision of 0.40.4 cm. A vacuum-retractor should be introduced into the space developed followed by aspiration of testicular parenchyma. Around the incision of albuginea one should apply a purse-string suture with a vicryl ligature. Simultaneously, one should introduce about 12-15 ml hydrophilic polyacryl amide gel. Ligatures of the purse-string suture should be tightened up and bound. Surgical wound should be sutured in layer by layer. Analogous operation should be fulfilled at the opposite side. The innovation enables to remove testicular parenchyma due to low-invasive interference, reconstruct initial size of the organ, avoid cosmetic testicular defects, decrease traumatism of surgical interference, counterbalance the volume of scrotal organs and improve quality of life and psychic state in such patients. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 1 ex
