METHOD FOR SEALING A BRONCHIAL STUMP

FIELD: medicine, pulmonary surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with suturing the bronchus after removing the lung with mechanical suture with the help of a suturing equipment followed by hermetic fixation of bronchial stump with a fragment due to applying interrupted sutures onto its free end being above the mechanical suture. Moreover, before removing a lung it is necessary to apply ligatures onto the bronchus, mechanical suture should be applied being 2 cm proximally against ligatures, then it is important to resect a cartilaginous part of the bronchus along the edge of the suturing equipment by keeping a membranous part as a flap upon a pedicle to fix it then with through interrupted sutures.
