Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: binding compositions for manufacture of heat-insulating slabs. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed water soluble binding composition is obtained by addition of alcohol C1-C3 to 45-55-% aqueous solution of sodium silicate Na2OxSiO2, where x = 2.5-3.1 in the amount of 5-15% of its mass followed by mixing and holding at temperature of about 20C for 24-240 h; then upper layer is separated and lower layer containing sodium silicate of common formula Na2OxSiO2yH2O is diluted with water; x=3.5-5.1; y=3-7. Water contains additionally copper compound dissolved in aqueous solution of ammonium or carbamide. Components are taken at the following ratio, mass-%: silicate, 45-66; ammonium and/or carbamide, 1-7.2; copper compound in terms of copper, 0.2-1.6; water, 32-54.
