Zusammenfassung:FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, in particular, production of cast iron in blast furnaces. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily screening coke under blast furnace hoppers on screens having predetermined size of sieve grids; separating oversize fraction as skip coke; charging burden. Burden contains iron ore materials, including agglomerate and pellets, skip coke and solid carbonaceous additive. Undersize fraction of single-stage coke screening is used as solid carbonaceous additive without limiting of lower size range. Charging of additive is performed during each 2nd-10th feeding stage in conjunction with iron-ore materials into intermediate zone of spilling surface furnace throat. Solid carbonaceous additive is used in an amount of 3-5% of total content of additive and skip coke in charge. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption of skip coke and improved recovery processes in furnace. ^ 2 cl, 2 tbl
