STAND OF ROLLING MILL

FIELD: manufacture of hot rolled tubes at applying grease briquettes onto rolling rolls. ^ SUBSTANCE: stand includes housing; grooved rolls; apparatuses mounted in housing for applying grease onto each roll and being in the form of fluid-tight cylindrical body with lid. Walls of body of said apparatuses turned to roll have profile corresponding to that of roll groove and end portions of body walls are arranged over apex of roll groove with gap relative to radial plane of roll. Cavity of said body is communicated with system for supplying through common pipeline pressurized cooling liquid and it is filled with briquettes of grease with possibility of abutting new briquettes. Body of apparatus is fixed in housing against rotation around lengthwise axis. One of apparatuses for applying grease is made with possibility of monitoring value of briquette rubbing. Lid and body are joined by means of tenon joint through gasket and they are forced to housing by means of attachments mounted on pivots rigidly joined with housing. ^ EFFECT: increased wear resistance of rolls, improved efficiency of rolling mill. ^ 4 dwg, 1 tbl
