Zusammenfassung:FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of gradient hard-alloy tips for metal cutting tools. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for making hard-alloy polyhedral changeable tips comprises steps of pressing mixture of powders of refractory compounds and cobalt; then subjecting it to preliminary agglomeration at 830 - 900°C; performing surface alloying due to impregnating with suspension of powder of low- cobalt hard alloy in mixture of alcohol and glycerin at relation 2 : 1 in ultrasound field for 4 - 8 min. After surface alloying final agglomeration is performed and wear-resistant coating is applied. Formed tip has viscous core part and hard surface layer providing its strength at working different materials. ^ EFFECT: improved structure, increased surface strength of tip. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex
