METHOD FOR UNEVEN PLACEMENT OF POINT OBJECTS ON AN AREA MAP WITH GIVEN DENSITY

FIELD: cartography, in particular, methods for applying irregularly positioned point objects to an area map with given density. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, side size of test square is selected, point objects are applied to area map in characteristic locations, squares are detected, in which density of point objects has unacceptable values, point objects are either added or removed accordingly, and described actions are repeated with the exception of selection of test square size until density of point object satisfies required conditions. Various positions of test square are selected correspondingly with all positions of test square, at which it passes with its two adjacent sides through appropriate two point objects, and also with all positions of test square, at which one of its vertexes coincides with one of point objects. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability when checking tolerance of density values of applied point objects. ^ 6 dwg
