RESERVOIR WITH FLOATING ROOF

FIELD: reservoirs for storage of petroleum, petroleum products and other volatile liquids. ^ SUBSTANCE: reservoir has water drain apparatus, casing, bottom, floating roof with water drain system, wherein water drain channel is defined by two arms of flexible hose having rotary insert provided between two arms. Rigid link is inserted into each flexible arm. Ends of each rigid link are terminated in upper, lower and intermediate brackets, respectively. Upper bracket is hung with its upper end by means of flexible tie-rod to floating roof, lower bracket is attached with its lower end by means of pivot joint to support provided on reservoir bottom, and two intermediate brackets of upper and lower arms are connected with one another through pivotal hinge. Owing to absence from construction of pivot joints in proper water drain channel, the latter is reliably sealed. Combination of flexible arms with rigid links equipped with brackets provided at their ends and pivotal connection of flexible arms with one another and with reservoir bottom and floating roof allows integral foldable carcass to be formed. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation and reduced production costs. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg
