DEVICE FOR MEASURING PHOTON RADIATION STREAMS

FIELD: nuclear tool-making industry, possible use during radiation monitoring for finding gamma-sources. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for finding streams of photon radiation contains detection block, including protective screen in form of cylinder and multi-element detectors, positioned around protective screen, electronic transformer, connected to elements of detectors and electronics block, connected to electronic transformer. As detector elements, Geiger counters are mounted, positioned around circles, one row inside another with possible enabling and disabling of detectors of each such row depending on power of exposition dose in measurement point, while protective screen is made of heavy alloy and has height of sensitive volume of Geiger counter, electronic block and electronic transformer are positioned below protective screen. ^ EFFECT: decreased mass of device, its dimensions while preserving detecting and measuring characteristics. ^ 2 dwg
