UMBRELLA-SHAPED FISH PROTECTIVE DEVICE

FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish-protective devices included in water-intake systems to prevent young fish ingress in water-intake systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: fish protective device comprises suction tube with vertical inlet pipe coaxially arranged in water-tight cylinder with sealed top. Device also has preliminary young fish diverting system including perforated pipeline connected to compressor. The pipeline is laid on water body bottom from outer water-tight cylinder side and made as closed loop coaxial to suction pipe. Lower end of water-tight cylinder and outer side of inlet pipe define water-intake orifice. Device comprises fish-arresting screen and jet flow forming means, whish are arranged in parallel horizontal planes coaxial with each other and in suction tube. Fish-arresting screen is made as a circle having diameter exceeding that of water-tight cylinder. Jet flow forming means is made as Segner wheel and is connected with pressure pump line through supply pipeline. The jet flow forming means is located between fish-arresting screen and water surface. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of fish protection against ingress in water intake structure by creation of flow to divert fish and rubbish with the use of rotary jet flow forming means. ^ 5 cl, 6 dwg
