Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing inactivated herpes simplex virus into mixed peripheral blood leukocyte culture taken from uveitis patient at the beginning of culturing. Tumor necrosis factor - alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin 4 (IL-4) content is determined 24 hours later from the beginning of culturing in supernatant. TNF-alpha content being greater than 200 pkg/ml without IL-4 being found, unfavorable clinical course of uveitis is to be predicted. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy in forecasting disease relapse cases at preclinical stage; enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
