Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: design of sliding gates used, for example in rolling mills of furnace coiler. ^ SUBSTANCE: hot rolled strip performing reciprocation motion is coiled at each stroke while it is reversed onto furnace drum inside furnace and it is uncoiled from said drum. If it is necessary strip is heated. On slide gate of furnace coiler are arranged guiding tables for guiding and feeding rolled strip. Sliding gate and furnace coiler are in the form of separate construction units. Sliding gate is arranged on part of movable frame of roller table under furnace coiler. Sliding gate includes at least two foldable members mutually coupled through support unit of gate with possibility of rotation. ^ EFFECT: shortened time period for preparing sliding gate to operation, simplified works for maintaining furnace gate. ^ 7 cl, 4 dwg
