Zusammenfassung:FIELD: reduction-oxidation catalysts. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation of inorganic and/or organic compounds, including sulfur compounds, with air oxygen. A catalyst is provided containing, as active component, mixture of variable-valence metal compounds (summary content 15-50%), flux: alumina-supported organosilicon compound (10-50%), and, additionally, modifying additive: carbon-containing material (0.5-20%), and support in balancing amount. ^ EFFECT: increased total catalytic activity and simultaneously imparted additional specific properties (high retention capacity regarding suspended impurities and antibacterial activity) to catalyst surface. ^ 6 tbl, 7 ex
