METHOD FOR TREATING ACUTE TISSUE HYPERTENSION SYNDROME AT CLOSED FRACTURES OF SHIN BONES

FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the method suggested should be fulfilled due to fasciotomy and fibular resection. Moreover, it is necessary to measure intra-tissue pressure in deep muscular layer of posterior fascial bed of affected and contralateral shin by applying the following formula: R=P2-P1, where P1 - intra-tissue muscular pressure in contralateral shin, P2 - intra-tissue muscular pressure of affected shin; then one should detect the difference of pressures, then at the value R>25 mm one should fulfill lateral z-shaped fasciotomy in combination with subperiosteal resection of external fibular surface for two thirds of its diameter for the length of 10 cm. Application of the present innovation enables to improve the results of treating the fractures of shin bones due to earlier, radical decompression of shin's fascial beds. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. ^ 1 ex
