Zusammenfassung:FIELD: protection of spacecraft against anti-cosmic defense systems equipped with self-guidance means working in infra-red range; recoverable vehicles, hypersonic aircraft, missile nose cones, descent spacecraft. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in forming protective screen around spacecraft which is cooled down to temperature of surrounding medium background. Used as protective screen is outer layer of spacecraft casing. Cooling the protective screen is effected by supplying the liquid nitrogen vapor at temperature of 77K into gap between envelope of fairing under which spacecraft is mounted on launch vehicle and outer layer of spacecraft casing. ^ EFFECT: extended field of application; enhanced efficiency of method. ^ 1 dwg
