Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: electroplating techniques, possibly restoration procedures, for example for restoring mounting surfaces of rolling bearing assemblies. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes bath for electrolyte; anode mounted over bath and having pad of dielectric material; cathode holder joined with rotation drive unit; mounted in strut mechanism for pressing pad to cathode. Apparatus is provided with additional anode placed in bath with electrolyte and partially immersed together with cathode into electrolyte. Mechanism for pressing pad to cathode is in the form of lever whose one end is jointly coupled with strut, whose mean portion is joined with anode and with pad and whose opposite end is joined with calibrated weight secured to it. Honeycomb-structure pad is made of thermosetting glass-reinforced polymeric material. ^ EFFECT: massive structure of coating without foliation, increased thickness of coating, enhanced efficiency of process. ^ 1 ex, 2 dwg
