HELICAL DEADEND CLAMP

FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed clamp designed for anchoring conductors of overhead power transmission lines and fiber-optic cables of communication lines on supporting structures has two U-shaped strands 1 and 2, each incorporating two branches of coiled wires 3, 4, 5, 6 and attachment eye 7, 8. Strands 1, 2 are coiled on wire (cable) 14 in opposite directions (left- and right-hand coiling).Eye 8 is inserted in thimble 9 above eye 7 or in second thimble 10, both thimbles being either hinged through pin with nut 11 or rigidly fixed together; thimbles 9 and 10 are attached to line supporting structure by means of intermediate link 13.
