METHOD FOR EXTRACTING OF OIL FROM RAW PLANT MATERIAL AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: fat-and-oil industry, in particular, extraction of oil from raw plant material. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding raw plant material into extracting chamber and rolling raw material on the surface of extracting chamber by means of members eccentric with respect to extracting chamber, said rolling process being facilitated by means of worm screws having radially sharpened additional coil on their main coils. Apparatus has charging chamber and extracting chamber, drive shaft axially aligned with said parts of apparatus, screw provided on drive shaft within charging chamber, and eccentrics provided on drive shaft within extracting chamber. Worm screws are positioned on eccentrics for rotation. Worm screws have radially sharpened additional coil formed on main coils, with direction of worm screw coils being opposite to that of screw coils. Adjacent eccentrics have eccentricities at opposite sides relative to axis of drive shaft. Depth of grooves between main coils of worms is decreasing from charging chamber. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in oil extraction and simplified tool facilities due to employment of single type tools.
