FACILITY FOR FIGHTING FIRE IN TALL HOUSES WITH THE AID OF HELICOPTER

FIELD: fighting fire with the aid of helicopters. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed fire-fighting facility includes extinguishant reservoirs, flexible pipe line for delivery of extinguishant, extension boom, emergency disconnection unit, nozzle remotely operated in vertical plane and remotely-controlled lock secured on helicopter, support secured on external stores and shut-off valve. Each reservoir is mounted on support and is provided with gas producer, check valve, remotely-controlled ignition unit, charging unit and remotely-controlled extinguishant drain unit. Flexible pipe line for delivery of extinguishant is made in form of pressure hose consisting of suspended section secured on external stores and stationary section secured on extension boom; reservoirs are communicated with suspended section of pressure hose through check valves and with stationary section of pressure hose through emergency disconnection unit and remotely-controlled shut-off cock; controllable nozzle is mounted on free end of stationary section of pressure hose. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability; extended functional capabilities due to use of easily-detachable equipment. ^ 4 dwg
