METHOD OF PROTECTION OF FISH IN WATER INTAKE

Proposed method of protection of fish in water intakes comes to delivery of water streams from zone of action of water intake into safe section of pond. Rising streams are directed along water intake front accompanying water flows in water intake and in whirlpool zone arranged over water intake forming fish diverting transit flow in whirlpool zone. Water streams can be delivered both directly from water intake front and at a distance from front. Hydraulic structure of rising flow can be formed by stream-forming baffle. Invention makes it possible to realize baroreaction of fish being pulled downwards, with rising up in slow velocity zone in water intake where fish can effectively show said reaction. When implementing the method, no screens and moving members injuring the fish are required.
