BUILDING BLOCK

FIELD: building, particularly to manufacture building blocks, to design and erect diaphragm walls for different structures, namely for pits, underground passes, tunnels and foundations with the use of building blocks. ^ SUBSTANCE: building block comprises reinforced concrete body and has end, face and side surfaces. Each side surface is provided with longitudinal groove and two extensions. At least one extension of building block has side surface with thickness varying along extension length. The extension comprises at least two parts in extension length direction. Each extension part has side surface thickness, which decreases in extension part length direction up to value equal to minimal thickness of side surface of above extension and then increases up to value equal to maximal thickness of side surface of above extension part. ^ EFFECT: increased load-bearing ability of building unit. ^ 9 cl, 14 dwg, 3 tbl
