Zusammenfassung:FIELD: glass industry; production of the hardened glass mainly used in automobiles. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the glazings made out of the hardened glass and mainly used in automobiles. The glass thermally hardened up to the required standards is produced much more easily by hardening of the sheets of the window glass having the high coefficient of the thermal expansion (exceeding 93.10-7 per one Celsius degree) and the low impact viscosity at destruction (less than 0.72 MPa.m1/2). The suitable glasses are the glasses containing (in mass %) from 64 up to 75 % of SiO2, from 0 up to 5 % of Al23, from 0 up to 5% of B23, from 9 up to 16 % of the alkali-earth metal oxide, which is different from MgO, from 0 up to 2 % MgO, from 15 up to 18 % of the alkali metal oxide and at least of 0.05 % of the common iron (in terms of Fe23). The hardening of such glasses conduct at the pressure of the cooling air of at least by 20 % less, than routinely used pressure of the cooling air. The technical result of the invention is the possibility to harden the glasses, including the thin glasses up to the automobile glass standard with the improved outputs, using the routine methods of hardening. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures the possibility to harden the glasses, including the thin glasses - up to the automobile glass standard with the improved outputs, using the routine methods of hardening. ^ 18 cl, 6 ex, 4 tbl
