Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: recycling of waste rubber articles, including reject automobile tyres. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, tire is cut into five pieces: tread, two strips, two bead rings. In process of cutting, fixed tire is compressed in axial direction, is turned and tread band and two side strips are cut out. Firstly, fixed tire is cut in not less than four sections whose length, for each cutting, line, exceeds half of line length. The tire is turned through angle to arranged it in position in which cut and solid sections of tire change their places and, by second movement of knife, fixed tire is cut into five pieces. ^ EFFECT: possibility of cutting any tyres, including heavy damaged and metal-cord tyres and those with different tyres of reinforcement carcass without readjustment of equipment. ^ 5 dwg
