Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: machinery building, particularly devices for locking and sealing doors of box cars, containers, tank hatches, hopper car handwheels, truck doors and so on. ^ SUBSTANCE: locking and sealing device comprises body with rope cut having the first end fastened to body and another, free end, inserted in through body channel communicating with channel provided with stop mechanism. The stop mechanism is made as spring-loaded solids of revolution, which may cooperate with the rope inserted in the through channel. Rope section between the first and free ends has diameter less than that of free end. The rope section is formed by mechanical rope deformation. Stop mechanism cooperates with above rope section. ^ EFFECT: prevention of linear loop dimensions increase, improved service convenience. ^ 9 cl, 2 dwg
