Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: inorganic compounds technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of aqueous solution from sodium silicate. Method comprises interaction of water-containing stream forcedly circulated in a closed circuit with sodium silicate melt having silicate ratio 2.3-3.7, enriching circulated water-containing stream with sodium silicate to desired concentration, and forming silicate-containing intermediate stream. For that, to water-containing stream, prior to be brought into interaction with sodium silicate, is imparted velocity 80 to 170 m/sec. Movement direction of water-containing stream is in general the same as movement direction of sodium silicate melt but at an angle 20 to 40° to the latter. Ratio of masse intake of water-containing stream to that of sodium silicate melt stream varies from 5 to 15. Thus formed solid glasslike and partially hydrated sodium silicate grains have average diameter not larger 70 mum and leave contact zone (wherein water-containing stream contacts with sodium silicate melt stream) with velocity at least 80 m/sec. Temperature of silicate-containing intermediate circulated in closed circuit is maintained between 90 and 105°C. ^ EFFECT: improved stability and properties of liquid glass and reduced process time. ^ 2 ex |
