ELONGATED ROLLED PRODUCT COOLING APPARATUS

FIELD: rolled stock production, namely systems for cooling rolled rods in flow line of rolling mill. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes inlet and outlet tubes mounted in cylindrical housings with possibility of motion along lengthwise axis of apparatus; supply branch pipe. Said cylindrical housings are joined with guide arranged along lengthwise axis of apparatus and having inner cones placed mutually opposite. Inlet and outlet tubes are provided in addition with sleeves having cone like outer portion forming annular jets together with inner cones of guide. Partition sleeve is arranged inside guide; inner diameter of said sleeve consists of 0.35 -0.6 of inner diameter of guide. At both sides of sleeve in guide there are draining openings. Supply branch pipe is joined with cylindrical housing at side of inlet tube. ^ EFFECT: possibility of continuous operation of apparatus at stable position of leading end of rolled piece, uniform cooling of rolled product along its length. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg
