Adjustable lip is provided with rounded off nose, and end of adjustable gate is arranged behind bend of nose. Rubbing apron enclosing pipe to be insulated is secured on bath in direction of pipe rotation over 1/4-1/3 of length of its circumference. Insulating unit is installed on frame for reciprocating and adjusting in height, and reel with roll reinforcing material is installed after metering-and-rubbing device and its width is equal to width of metering-and-rubbing device.
