STEEL STRIP FORMING AND FURTHER WORKING PROCESS

FIELD: processes of combined continuous casting and rolling. ^ SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of continuous casting strip blank; induction heating of it at leveling temperature along cross section; combination rolling in one guiding stand and in planetary stand for forming two convexities in upper and two concavities in lower surfaces of blank before guiding it to planetary stand. Then strip blank is heated up to 900 - 1000°C. Loop of strip is formed and it is subjected to temperature control. Strip is cyclically arrested after its loop for cutting off measured-length pieces further subjected to hot forging. According to invention strip is cast of given kinds of steel with cross section sides 110 - 130 x 250 - 300 mm at relation of sides 0.4 - 0.45. Continuously cast blank is reduced in guiding stand in horizontal two-roll pass at elongation degree 4 - 10%. Then blank is reduced in planetary stand having eccentric backup roll to strip with thickness 65 - 70 mm and it is cut by measured length pieces 480 - 550 mm for forging hot pieces to blanks of caterpillar tracks with thickness 60 - 65 mm. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of equipment, possibility of creating rational flow line production of blanks of caterpillar tracks. ^ 3 cl, 1 ex
