CAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER

FIELD: automotive industry; car electrical equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed cigarette lighter consists of fixed part 1 and fitted-in movable part 2. Movable part 2 is made in form of cylinder 3 accommodating cup 4 with heating element 5 designed for lighting a cigarette. Fixed part 1 of cigarette lighter is formed by cylindrical socket 7 on one end face of which contact system isolated from socket 7 is arranged, other end face is open and designed for mounting movable part 2. Contact system includes thermal cutout 8, electric contact 9 and contact bimetallic terminal 11. Thermal cutout 8 is fusible element made in form of ring and is installed on electric contact 9. Space around thermal cutout 8 is limited by flanging of ground contact 14 tightly fitting socket 7, isolating washer 15 and electrically insulating bushing 10. ^ EFFECT: provision of reliability of cigarette lighter owing to improved conditions of operation of contact elements under increased load currents. ^ 2 dwg
