LOCKING DEVICE

FIELD: ironmongery, possible use for locking doors of freight cars and containers of railroad and other types of transport and other similar objects. ^ SUBSTANCE: device contains body with solid aperture, wherein passive end of cable is held, through aperture, through which free end of cable is let during locking, and threaded aperture, into which a holder is screwed having portion with decreased transverse section in form of a recess. Threaded aperture crosses through aperture. The latter in zone of cable wedging is provided with recess, which is closed off by plug in form of ring. Axes of apertures are positioned in same plane, while axis of through aperture is positioned at an angle to smooth aperture, and axis of threaded aperture is positioned at an angle to through aperture. During locking an end of holder interacts with cable and when given holding force is reached, holder breaks off in recess area. ^ EFFECT: simplified operation, simplified manufacture, reliable protection of object. ^ 7 cl, 4 dwg
