BENDABLE EXTENSION TUBE EQUIPPED WITH PIVOT JOINT AND DESIGNED FOR VACUUM CLEANER

FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: bendable extension tube for vacuum cleaner has body adapted for bending by manipulating through the use of button, said body defining hermetically sealed channel for passage of fluid between vacuum cleaner casing and suction brush. Bendable extension tube has first extension pipe and second extension pipe, said pipes being connected so as to be rotated in relation to one another. Retaining button is elastically positioned on first extension pipe and is adapted for restricting rotation of first and second extension pipes. Sealing cover prevents retaining button from shifting out of pivot joint which connects first and second extension pipes, and covers first and second extension pipes in hermetically sealing relation. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in bending of extension tube by simple manipulation of button to thereby significantly facilitate operation of vacuum cleaner. ^ 14 cl, 4 dwg
