Zusammenfassung:FIELD: electronic engineering; electron-beam surface-treatment installations. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for use with electron-beam guns incorporating additional gate electrode placed at high potential of cathode incorporates provision for simultaneous and independent control of electron-beam power using potential and impulse methods of control and has square-pulse generator and regulator, both placed at ground potential, high-voltage insulating transformer whose primary winding is close to ground potential and secondary one is placed at high potential, as well as full-wave rectifier whose output is connected to cathode-to-gate-electrode path. Generator is capable of controlling repetition frequency of output pulses. Device also has controlled phase-shifting circuit and second regulator, both placed at ground potential, second high-voltage insulating transformer identical to first one, and adder; primary winding of this transformer is close to ground potential and secondary one is placed at high potential. Rectangular oscillations picked off first insulating transformer output, whose amplitude is set by first regulator, are added to those picked off output of second insulating transformer by means of adder prior to being supplied to full-wave rectifier, amplitude and phase of rectangular oscillations picked off second-transformer output being set by second regulator and controlled phase-shifting circuit. ^ EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability and precision of control. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
