METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING THE CASES OF CHRONIC CALF'S TEETH PULPITIS

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out X-ray examination of a tooth under study and setting diagnosis based on pathological periodontium tissue changes detected on X-ray picture. Optical density of dental bone tissue is determined from the X-ray examination data in the dental root bifurcation vicinity along longitudinal axis coinciding with bifurcation axis and drawn to cortical plate of permanent tooth germ and along transverse axis drawn over tooth roots middle points. The obtained values are compared to optical density threshold value taken to be equal to 0.125. An optical density value greater than the threshold value being found among the obtained values, chronic calf's teeth pulpits is to be diagnosed. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy and objectiveness of diagnosis method.
