METHOD FOR PREVENTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF PERITONEAL VISCERO-PARIETAL ADHESIONS

FIELD: medicine, surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with operations upon organs of abdominal cavity. One should introduce a device in the form of a film of either oval or rhombus shape into abdominal cavity, the shortest diagonal of rhombus is about 10-15 cm, the longest one corresponds to wound's length. A polymeric tube is located along the longest diagonal with two cords coming along film's perimeter at tube's one end. Ligature is fixed to the middle of each cord. Tube's end with fixed ends of cords should be fixed with a through ligature to internal surface of abdominal wall being above the upper angle of the wound. Another end of the tube with free ends of cords should be withdrawn through separate incision of abdominal wall being below the lower angle of the wound. Cord-fixed ligatures should be withdrawn being cross-sectionally against wound's axis. Before removing the device one should cross fixing ligatures. Due to traction by tube's external end one should remove the device. The innovation prevents the development of postoperational adhesions. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis. ^ 2 dwg, 1 ex
