DRUM-TYPE SORTER

FIELD: agricultural engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: sorter has spiral carcass, sorting device formed as flexible elastic cellular net defining individual elastic sections caused by slacking of net between adjacent coils of spiral carcass, with sizes of cells increasing in direction of advancement of product from feeding place where product is fed into spiral carcass, discharge trays adapted for receiving of sorted out fractions and positioned under cellular net, and receptacle tray. Shaft with spiral carcass is mounted on frame by means of bearings. Replaceable operating tool is fixed on coils of spiral carcass. Output edge of terminating section is made skew in the course of advancement of product. Apparatus is equipped with tightening device for adjusting the extent of slacking of cellular net. Sorting out operating device is made replaceable, with different number of sections corresponding to number of fractions produced, and sizes of cells therein. ^ EFFECT: improved sorting out quality, reduced damage to product, enhanced reliability in operation and simplified operation. ^ 5 cl, 5 dwg
