ULTRASONIC METHOD FOR SETTING DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF SMALL AND LARGE INTESTINE CONDITION IN THE CASES OF INFLAMMATORY NONSPECIFIC DISEASES

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out transabdominal ultrasonic examination and analysis of tomographic images. The ultrasonic examination is carried out through anterior abdominal wall with linear transducer from 7.5 to 12.5 MHz being used as a series of transverse, longitudinal and oblique scanning cross-sections with intestine wall layers being visualized. No mucous layer being observed, no deep ulcer injuries is considered to be the case. No mucous and submucous layers or hyperechogenous inclusions in submucous and muscular layer are visualized in the cases of deep ulcer injuries. Hyperechogenous inclusions in the bulk of intestine wall, smeared intestine wall structure and narrow submucous layer defects oriented along intestine axis are determined in the cases of deep slit-shaped intestine ulcer injuries. Thick mucous, submucous and muscular layer cases are diagnosed as inflammatory infiltration. ^ EFFECT: high informative value of ultrasonic examination data. ^ 4 cl
