Diagnostic index Kst is calculated as spontaneous-to-stimulated NBT-test values ratio. Kst being equal to or greater than 1.5, newborn adaptation process is considered to be adequate, otherwise, early adaptation period disorders and functional exhaustion are to be diagnosed at the level of the immune system monocyte chain. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy in revealing early stage pre-clinical signs.
