APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING AND WELDING PANELS WITH HONEYCOMB FILLERS

FIELD: apparatuses for contact multi-point welding of panels with honeycomb filler of metallic corrugated band with beads and sheet facings. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two heads with roller electrodes and electrically conducting comb whose profile corresponds to configuration of honeycomb filler, carriage with braking members for securing facings, drive unit for moving comb and carriage. Comb is in the form of upper and lower parts secured by cantilever fashion in housing with mutual gap and including rows of packs of electrically insulated plates having no insulation on working surface engaged with beads of honeycomb filler of panel. Roller electrodes are connected with power source according to double-side welding pattern. Gap value between parts of comb is sufficient for providing motion of sheet spacer of panel fed to welding zone. ^ EFFECT: possibility for welding panels of sound absorbing structures with two layers of honeycomb filler between which sheet spacer is placed. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
