Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: different fields of science and engineering; devices for measuring direction and a rate of speed of a liquid flow and a hot melt. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to devices for measuring direction and a rate of speed of a liquid flow and a hot melt and may be used for these purposes in different fields of science and engineering, where investigations of hydrodynamic processes are indispensable, and may be used at determination of distributions of fields of velocities in aluminum hot melt flow at an electrolysis, that has a paramount value at development of power-saving processing techniques of production of metal. The device for gauging a direction and a rate of speed of a liquid flow and a hot melt contains a streamlined body made in the form of a ball, fixed to one end of a spar, the other end of which is connected to the primary converter, and also a control unit. At that the primary converter is made in the form of a motor- reducer. The spar is made in the form of lever bent at an angle of 90°, the size of the arm of which determines the torque value acting on a shaft of the motor-reducer. The control unit consists of a device of control and data acquisition made in the form of a voltage stabilizer, an electronic unit consisting of the analog-digital and digital/analog converters, and a computer. The technical result is an increase of accuracy of measurements, the operational and automatic gathering of data on a direction and speed of a flow of a liquid and a hot melt, and independence of the measuring results from temperature, hydrostatic pressure, the medium heterogeneity. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased accuracy of measurements, the operational and automatic gathering of data on a direction and speed of a liquid flow and a hot melt, independence of the measuring results from a temperature, a hydrostatic pressure, heterogeneity of the medium. ^ 1 dwg |
