Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: testing engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the rotor inside the housing, reducing the cross-section of one of the blades, strengthening the section by linings made of a thermosensitive material whose linear expansion coefficient exceeds well that of the blade material, setting the speed of rotation of the rotor at a given level, heating the blades, breaking the blade at a given speed of rotation, and judging the strength of the housing by the traces produced by the blade. The device comprises rotor with blades, drive, system for control of the speed of rotation, pickup for measuring the speed of rotation, heater, unit for control of heating, temperature gauges, and device for signaling on the blade breaking. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability. ^ 18 cl, 4 dwg
