Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: production of calcium carbonate from calcium nitrate used in paint-and-varnish industry; glazing processes; farming. ^ SUBSTANCE: calcium nitrate solution separated from nitric acid extract in process of production of complex mineral fertilizers on base of nitric acid of processing apatite concentrate is treated with ammonium and carbon dioxide or ammonium carbonate, target product is separated and is washed with water, after which it is dried to residual moisture not exceeding 1 mass-%; prior to drying product is treated with calcium nitrate solution and/or nitric acid solution at rate of 5-20 kg per ton of target product. ^ EFFECT: avoidance of ammonium odor during storage at retained physico-chemical properties. ^ 3 cl, 4 ex
