Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: linear phased dipole arrays of printed-strip design. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed array has half-wave dipoles disposed in one plane above conducting screen at distance equal to quarter of mean wavelength of operating range and fed in phase by means of feeder channel incorporating coaxial line section for feeding dipoles from power splitter, as well as electronic scanning means built around phase shifters and their change-over control units; like-polarity printed arms of dipoles have point of feeding from feeder channel disposed level with conducting screen plane at base of vertical printed excitation sections turning into these arms at 90 deg.; opposing printed arms of dipoles are either electrically shorted out by means of their vertical printed excitation section through array ground at points of connection to conducting screen or turn at angle of 90 deg. into vertical U-shaped printed excitation section disposed above conducting screen with open second end of total electric length equal to half the mean operating-range wavelength to form groups of interconnected conductors together with adjacent vertical printed excitation section of like-polarity dipole arm; adjacent vertical printed excitation sections of like-polarity and opposing dipole arms are provided with flat conductive matching capacitive components mounted in parallel with location plane of sections. ^ EFFECT: optimized mechanical design of antenna array. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg |
