The volume of closed pores is determined from the formula Vcl = DeltaGsp/rhoair - Gsp/rhofr, and the volume of open pores is determined from the formula Vop = V - DeltaGsp/rhoair, where Vcl is the volume of closed pores in cm3, DeltaGsp is the variation of the weight of the specimen after evacuation in g, rhoair is the air density in g/cm3, Gsp is the weight of the specimen in air in g, rhofr is the density of the material of the frame in g/cm3, Vop is the volume of open pores in cm3, and V is the volume of the specimen in cm3. The device comprises pressure-tight measuring chamber for the specimen to be analyzed. The chamber can be in communication with the atmosphere and is connected with the vacuum pump and receives the pickup of movements and housing of the oil damper. The top end of the pillar is provided with the unit of vertical movements which is provided with top end of the spring through the rigidity controller.
