Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: rail-grinding equipment, particularly spraying and fire-extinguishing systems thereof. ^ SUBSTANCE: spraying and fire-extinguishing system has at least two sections with water tanks provided with water level sensors, two pump plants with manometers and filtering members, control system for water-distribution fittings, connecting fire-extinguishing hoses, as well as front and rear end fittings having a set of nozzles. Inlet pipelines of pump plants are connected to water tank sections through water-distribution fittings by means of pipelines. Discharge manifolds are linked to pipeline, which connects and unites high-pressure manifolds of the system through water-distribution means and check valves to provide simultaneous or alternating operation of pump plants. ^ EFFECT: increased operational reliability, simplified structure and extended capabilities of rail grinding machine due to increased range of operating modes of pump plants. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
