FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, designing and manufacture of preferably winter clothing. ^ SUBSTANCE: protective sewing article includes multilayer packet with cavity defined by walls of water-impermeable material, within which hygroscopic member is inserted. Cavity is made in the form of elongated slit defined by two walls connected along contour at three sides and open at one short end. Width of cavity is at least ten times its thickness, and length of cavity is at least ten times the width thereof. One of cavity walls is made perforated. Hygroscopic member is made from fabric selected from the group consisting of wool, viscose, acetate, and staple, or said member is made in the form of stitched packet manufactured from said fabrics. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in moisture absorption and improved conditions in space under clothing. ^ 5 cl, 2 dwg
