AUTOMOBILE FRONT SUSPENSION SHIELDING DEVICE

FIELD: automotive industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices to prevent getting of dust and mud on rod of telescopic strut of front suspension. Proposed device contains bearing, shielding hood, upper and lower support cups for spring, outer housing, elastic insert, hydraulic shock absorbing strut with rod carrying compression buffer, rod shank secured, for instance, in fastening bushing. Shielding hood is secured by one end of hydraulic shock absorbing strut and by other end, for instance, on upper cup of spring. Inner space of hood communicates through vent channels with space of engine compartment. One or several vent holes are made in fastening bushing and compression buffer. ^ EFFECT: prevention of getting of dust and mud onto chromium-plated polished surface of rod and formation of condensate inside shielding hood in cold seasons. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg
